Come paint our studio mural!!!! Master Artist Paula Trejos will be guiding this portion of the camp. Mural will be displayed at our studio for the season.
This camp week will be dedicated to facilitating a creative exploration of art and dance.
Each day we will work towards completing our mural and dance. We will use our art to inspire our dance creativity and expression. Our main purpose with our camps are to help children create, build confidence, learn how to communicate and to instill a sense of community through many forms of art.
Once registered and closer to the camp date, you will receive an email with more detailed camp information - what to bring, what to wear, studio guidelines etc.

Master Artist Paula Trejos | I was born in Bogotá, Colombia, where I grew up and obtained my Fine Arts and Industrial Design degrees. I moved to the States in 2008 with a scholarship to play Volleyball; during that time, I acquired my Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design with a minor in Spanish. In 2013 I moved to Austin falling in love with the green city, the outdoor activities, and the art scene. I taught for five years in preschool, where I led through art; I am currently teaching visual arts for upper primary to middle school.
My work reflects my cultural roots through color and texture. I am always intrigued to work with new materials mixing media and creating a new dimension in my artwork. During my Junior year at Wayland Baptist University, I received the West texas academic award in 2010, presenting my artwork at the Abraham art gallery. In my senior year, I created a poster to promote awareness of global water problems in underserved countries published in Plainview's local newspaper in 2012.
In my teaching role, I guide students to find their creative selves developing learning experiences that enrich and expand students' previous knowledge. We develop critical thinking through observing and discussing art from all eras and through the development of student lead projects that helps them apply the acquired knowledge. Students learned how to use different tools and manipulate other materials on a small and big scale.
