What ages can take classes at Danzversity?
We offer hip-hop dance classes for ages 2 through adult. Youth programs are divided into four groups: Root Runners (ages 2-4), Flow Finders (ages 5-7), Vibe Builders (ages 8-12), and Elementz Crew (ages 13-17). Adult classes are for ages 18 and up.
Do I need dance experience to start?
No experience is needed. All programs begin at the Earth (foundation) level of the Elemental Dance Method. Students of all skill levels are welcome, and a free trial class is available.
What is the Elemental Dance Method?
The Elemental Dance Method is our proprietary curriculum that teaches hip-hop through four progressive elements: Earth (foundation), Water (flow), Air (expression), and Fire (mastery). Every class begins with a Culture Drop — a brief lesson on hip-hop history and culture.
How much do classes cost?
Youth 8-week series and Breakin' classes are $160. Adult membership is $150 per month for unlimited classes. Adult drop-in classes are $20 each. A free trial class is available for all new students.
Does Danzversity offer a free trial class?
Yes! New students can claim one free trial class for any youth or adult program. Use the class finder quiz above to get started, or call us at 512-677-7978.
Where is Danzversity located?
We are located at 7531 Burnet Rd, Austin, TX 78757, in the Crestview/North Austin area. Classes run Monday through Thursday evenings, 3:45 PM to 9:00 PM.
